Located along the intra coastal and A1A just south of Johnson St. the quaint Giorgio’s Bakery and Bistro is a wonderful change from the beach front breakfast and lunch restaurants on the Hollywood Broadwalk.
Visiting this past weekend the service was great and food was delicious. Not to mention a beautiful view sitting right on the water of the intracoastal waterway.
We decided to try “Tonys Favorite” Sandwich was a perfect combination of meats and grilled veggies on a fresh baguette. We also has a breakfast combo which was fairly standard eggs and potatoes, but the added desert pastry was flaky and covered with honey and absolutely marvelous.

Open from 7am to 10pm Daily, you cant go wrong choosing breakfast, lunch or dinner. We enjoyed a late morning brunch and had the added benefit of the sun being right above us and not shining in our eyes or reflecting off the water to the west. As it would in the evening during a sunset (which is probably spectacular in its own way)
We waited about 10 minutes to be seated outside around 11 am on a Saturday morning. (inside seating was immediately available, but we didn’t want to miss out the spectacular weather and view)
Save room for deserts. It is a bakery after all and even if they have a wide selection of sandwiches and entree’s their breads are fantastic and baked desserts even more so.
The owners have been brining a taste of Italy and Greece to Hollywood since 1996. If your stay is on Hollywood Beach, make sure to put Giorgio’s Bakery & Bistro on your list of eats.
