It looks like the construction is still going on the Sheridan St. bridge. Expect nightly closures starting this week.
Expect to be re-routed North to Dania Beach Blvd. or South side down to Hollywood Beach.
The repairs, which closed the bridge completely, were expected to start in May 2022 and go through the summer but construction was delayed until late June. Then after several additional days, the bridge finally reopened in late October.
According to Florida Department Of Transportation; Nightly full bridge closures will take place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 through Thursday, Feb. 2
This will impact all traffic along Sheridan St./ SR-822 across the intracoastal waterway going east and west bound to and from the Hollywood Beach barrier island.
